Jazz Mills started Free Lunch in May 2020 with friend and fellow musician, Carrie Fussell Bickley, after a 15 year career in the music industry. Free Lunch is a collective of Austin creatives who reduce food insecurity by cooking and serving meals for the unhoused community. We currently work with the Esperanza Community in Southeast Austin, providing nuanced meal support 7 days a week.
