Patient Advocate & Social Activist
National community service awardee, Bee Lynn, is a Queer, Non-binary, patient advocate and social activist for Healthcare and fair housing for underserved communities. Bee has previously served as a regional captrin for the Chronic Disease Coalition focusing on legislative change affecting disabled and chronically ill communities, and served as a Co-Founder for the Endometriosis Crisis Connection, helping patients get access to national resources and physicians. Recently, they joined the Housing Team at "The Safe Center Long Island", helping Domestic Violence/Interpersonal Violence victims gain access to Rapid Rehousing that follows a "Housing First" model.
